Blood Transfusion officer

We have a requirement of 2 Blood Transfusion Officer (BTO) at our blood centre. The required qualification is Post graduation in Pathology / Transfusion Medicine or MBBS with > 1 yrs blood centre experience preferably with FDA approval. The Job description for the same is as follows.

Job Description of Blood Centre Officer

  • Blood Centre Officer is responsible for all Professional, Scientific, Consultative, Advisory, Organizational, administrative and Educational Matters related to Blood Centre.
  • Performs routine Donor Evaluation and monitoring, including physical examination and phlebotomy site evaluation.
  • To attend Blood donation camp
  • Evaluating and Management of adverse donor reaction
  • To supervise Blood Centre procedures (BGCM, DCT,ICT, Serology testing , component preparation)
  • Review and approval of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training plan
  • Review and approval of document control and record keeping system
  • To supervise Inventory Management of Blood Centre.
  • Reviewing QC records with Quality Manager
  • Checks, maintains & signs all Blood Centre Records as per SOP.
  • To handle FDA, CDSCO, MDACS inspections.
  • Training of different levels of Staff, Competency Management and Induction Training of New Staff
  • To consult attending Physician and Resident staff as necessary.
  • Conducting Hospital Transfusion Committee meetings
  • Works closely with senior management, heads of department and doctors  to ensure a high standard
  • To review work up of Transfusion reactions reported to the Blood Centre and Reporting to National Hem vigilance Programme of India

Position: Sr. Resident/Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology

No. of Post: 04 (Four)

Qualification and Experience:

a) MBBS + DGO with Minimum 1 Year Exp. or

b) MS / DNB (Obstetrics and Gynecology): Fresher may also apply
