One-year fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplant

Bai Jerbai Wadia hospital in Parel is Mumbai’s oldest 450 bedded paediatric hospital established in 1929. The hospital has received several accolades such as the Best Medical Practice Award from European Medical Association.

As one of the India’s largest Paediatric Haematology-oncology and Immunology departments, we see a broad case-mix of both malignant and non-malignant disease. Between April 2019 - March 2020, we performed 18 allogeneic transplant with 89% disease-free survival. In the year April 2020 - March 2021, we plan to perform 40 allogeneic transplants.
